Team coaching is designed exclusively for our men’s and women’s squad players. Training is split into Group A and Group B based on player ability.

Group A trains 4 times a week, while Group B trains 2 a week.

All sessions take place at the squash courts at Pleasance Sports Complex & Gym and are led by Jamie Henderson, a former professional squash player.

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 How to join the team

If you want to earn a spot on one of our BUCS teams, you’ll need to attend the team trials held at the start of each season. We have 2 men’s teams and 3 women’s teams, and with several recent graduates, there’s plenty of movement in the squads this year.

Keep an eye on our WhatsApp group and Instagram for trial dates and sign-up info — be sure to get involved if you’re keen to compete against other universities!

Team coaching sessions focus on high-level skill development, tactical training, fitness, and match preparation to help you compete at your best in BUCS, regional leagues, and other competitions.
